科技英語(yǔ)文獻(xiàn)句子一般較長(zhǎng)，包含許多信息。漢譯時(shí)，如果應(yīng)用語(yǔ)法分析和邏輯判斷的手段，對(duì)原文的各個(gè)意思層加以分析解，能使譯文更加體現(xiàn)漢語(yǔ)的特點(diǎn)。我們稱(chēng)這種化整為零的翻譯技巧為"拆譯法"。例如：
1、The very short wave lengths of ultrasound make a great difference in what ordinary sound waves caves waves can do. 超聲波的波長(zhǎng)極短，其功能與普通聲波相比大不相同。（帶定語(yǔ)的名詞性短語(yǔ)拆譯）

拆譯時(shí)，精心安排譯文的語(yǔ)序是很重要的，其具體做法可歸納為四個(gè)字：順，逆抽，調(diào)。例如：
1、順原文語(yǔ)序拆譯：

3、抽拆原文中間成分作為譯文的句首：

4、穿插拆譯，綜合調(diào)整譯文語(yǔ)序：

拆譯時(shí)須注意以下兩個(gè)問(wèn)題：
1、當(dāng)拆則拆，當(dāng)合則合，不可硬行拆分，否則效果不好。例如：
To cure cancer, it is, however, necessary for the medical personnel as well as the patients first to criticize the erroneous idealist view that regards malignancy as "incurable" so as to build up confidence in fighting and eradicating cancer and gain better therapeutic results.
原譯：治療癌腫，必須首先在醫(yī)務(wù)人員和病人中批判錯(cuò)誤的唯心主義觀點(diǎn)，即：把癌視為"不治之癥"的觀點(diǎn)，以樹(shù)立信心，戰(zhàn)勝和消滅癌腫，并取得更好的療效。
原譯者將原文中that regards malignancy as "incurable" he in fighting and eradicating cancer 這兩個(gè)成分進(jìn)行了拆譯。從漢語(yǔ)的習(xí)慣看來(lái)，這種拆譯反而使譯文在語(yǔ)氣上有些不連貫，結(jié)構(gòu)上 也有點(diǎn)松散，因此不如不拆為好。試改譯如下：
治療癌癥，首先必須在醫(yī)務(wù)人員和病人中批判那種視癌癥為"不治之癥"的錯(cuò)誤的唯心主義觀念，以便幫助人們樹(shù)立戰(zhàn)勝和消滅癌癥的信心，爭(zhēng)取更好的療效。
2、正確把握始拆點(diǎn)，嚴(yán)格按漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)習(xí)慣來(lái)組織句子，否則，可能造成譯文結(jié)構(gòu)紊亂。例如：
The World Health Organization is helping national governments to get rid of malaria before resistance among the mosquito population becomes so great that new poisons will have to be found to replace those in use at present.
原譯：世界衛(wèi)生組織正在幫助一些國(guó)家的政府，爭(zhēng)取在蚊子的抗藥性變得過(guò)大之前把疾撲滅，以致將來(lái)不得不尋找新的殺蟲(chóng)藥來(lái)代替目前正在使用的藥物。
原譯文采用的基本上是順拆的手法，譯者將so great that...這個(gè)習(xí)慣搭配進(jìn)行了拆譯，致使譯文有些前后矛盾。既然"在……之前"已把瘧疾撲滅，何必待將來(lái)再去尋找新的殺蟲(chóng)藥。如果將始拆點(diǎn)定在before re sistance。。。這里，先敘述蚊子的抗藥性，再提出全句的其他成分，或許更好些，試改譯為：
蚊子的抗藥性正日益增大，以致將來(lái)不得不尋找新的殺蟲(chóng)藥來(lái)代替目前正在使用的藥物，世界衛(wèi)生組織正在幫助一些國(guó)家的政府，力圖在此之前把瘧疾消滅。
